Since I've already discussed the creation of both Twenty and Seven [see Twenty] I thought I'd spend some time explaining my fascination and usage of ravens.

I guess my earliest recollection of ravens is Alfred Hichcock's horror The Birds, followed closely by Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. Undoubtably I'm a big enthusiast of both bodies of work.

Born on the twenty-seventh day of October, Halloween was never far from my own date of celebration. And I guess with that I always embraced the mysterious dark bird as my own.

How many ravens do you see in the Seven piece? One-two-three? You probably saw the two birds in the upper right. But did you see the third bird in the background?
